About Our School

Lady Manners School are proud to open our facilities to the local community and create a space for learning, sports, and leisure events. Facilities available to hire include a full size 3G pitch, 7-aside 3G pitch, two 11V11 grass pitches, two full size grass rugby pitches, a sports hall, gymnasium, a macadem/tarmac court, vocational centre, library, drama hall, sixth form centre, cookery room and main hall.

Approach the school via Shutts Lane and access parking either through the main reception vehicle entrance or by entering the bus bay on the right-hand side of the main reception entrance. A member of staff will be based in the main reception. Free parking is available.

Full Size Floodlit 3G Pitch

The full-size floodlit 3G pitch, measuring 92 meters in length by 53 meters in width, is split into three sections labeled A, B, and C on the fencing.

Sports Hall

The Sports Hall measures 31.6 meters by 16.4 meters, with a height of 5.6 meters, and is equipped for a variety of sports. For badminton, posts and nets are provided, but users must bring their own rackets and shuttlecocks (x4). The hall features a full-size basketball court as well as a half court, and netball posts are provided. For 5-a-side football, goals measuring 4 feet by 12 feet are available. Additionally, there are two cricket lanes with nets and mats. This versatile sports hall is suitable for all these activities and available for hire.

Gymnasium

The gymnasium measures 11.85 meters long by 14.89 meters wide and features a wooden floor. It is equipped with approximately 20 blue mats, 4 benches, and a mirror (no bar).

Drama Hall

The Drama Hall measures 13.04 meters long by 13.19 meters wide, featuring hard wooden flooring. It provides access to chairs with an approximate seating capacity of 240 people.

Grass Pitches - 11v11

Two large grass pitches are available with the following dimensions:

94 meters long by 58 meters wide (Football 1)
86 meters long by 42 meters wide (Football 3)

Please note that from April to August, these grass football pitches do not include posts, nets, or line markings.

Grass pitch - full size Rugby

There are two large grass pitches with the following dimensions:

100 meters long by 65 meters wide (Rugby 1)
92 meters long by 60 meters wide (Rugby 3)

Main Hall

The Main Hall measures 16.8 meters long by 15.1 meters wide and features a stage. It has a maximum seated capacity of 240 people.

Rutland Studio (Drama Studio)

The Rutland Studio (Drama Studio) measures 18.1 meters long by 8.55 meters wide, features a wooden floor, and is equipped with full-length black curtains.

Vocational Centre

The Vocational Centre includes an IT classroom, which can be split into two with a partition wall, and another classroom area. The IT classroom measures 5.05 meters long by 11.9 meters wide, accommodates around 32 people, and includes 30 computer stations. The additional classroom area measures 3.85 meters long by 6.04 meters wide, seats approximately 18 people, and is equipped with a projector and screen.

Sixth Form Centre

The 6th Form Centre includes a small classroom/meeting room, a large IT suite, and a main space featuring a large atrium measuring 13.01 meters long by 13.18 meters wide. The atrium has a seating capacity for approximately 54 people and includes chairs and tables, as well as a servery hatch. The IT room is equipped with 28 computer stations. The small classroom/meeting room has a capacity for 10 people and is equipped with a computer, projector, and screen.

Library

The library measures 17.3 meters long by 20.86 meters wide and features 30 computer stations and seating for approximately 40 people.

Macadem / Tarmac Court

The macadam/tarmac courts measure 30 meters long by 40 meters wide and include three tennis courts with nets and posts. The entire macadam/tarmac area is 30 meters long by 40 meters wide.

Cookery Room

The Cookery Room offers a professional cooking environment. With flexible setup options, the space accommodates events for around 30 people. It has been previously used for cooking schools and birthday parties.

Classrooms

Lady Manners School’s classrooms are equipped with modern computers, desks, and comfortable chairs. These spaces support a range of activities, from group projects to individual study, ensuring a versatile and tech-enhanced learning environment.
